Asbury Seminary was founded in 1923 "to prepare and send forth a well-trained, sanctified, Spirit-filled, evangelistic ministry" to spread scriptural holiness around the world. Over eighty years later, Asbury has continued to hold to our intended goal upon which we were founded and provide holistic ministerial preparation as an interdenominational institution. Asbury Seminary takes the position that God calls to His ministry men and women renewed by faith in Christ and set apart for Christian service by a divine call. Asbury Seminary is committed to preparing its students for this vocation through: Providing an environment of spiritual education that results in personal spiritual formation, encouraging a holistic approach to ministry and ministerial preparation, and providing a theological education of academic excellence and professional preparation. Total current enrollment exceeds 1,600 students, representing over 90 denominations and 38 countries.

Florida campus: Located just 15 minutes the airport and downtown Orlando, Asbury Seminary's Florida campus has the most strategic location imaginable. An increasingly diverse number of women, African-American students, as well as denominational and parachurch organizations are represented on the Florida campus. Campus worship services and classroom experiences reflect the richness of the community.
Students, faculty and staff, along with members of their families, often eat meals together, study together, pray together and worship together as part of a normal day on campus. Small groups form naturally, sometimes as a result of sharing a meal together each week or three or four students commuting together to campus. No matter how they form, genuine and intentional relationship is a hallmark of the Florida campus.

Virtual campus: Anyone, anywhere can log on to Asbury Seminary's Extended Learning (ExL) Program to enrich their knowledge and enhance their skills. Students all 50 states and throughout the word study on our Virtual campus, making it a truly international experience.
